Other G.O.T. Critters
This page consists of some photos of other
interesting critters swimming about in the Giant Ocean Tank.
Many of these are from my January 1997 dive in the tank, and
were developed slightly dark. Ok, I screwed up the processing
time on a batch of 5 whole rolls of film, and this was one of
them. Some of these were only salvageable in Photoshop, and could
never be printed by conventional means (like the Flying Guinard).
I think they are just cool critters that I just don't get to
photograph around New England, so here they are.

Holly, a Senior Aquarist from the Aquarium,
tells me that this strange little being is a Flying Guinard.
I really wish I could have lit its fins (wings) a lot better
because they are one of this animals most interesting features.
They look like giant fans, and the real animal had iridescent
colors on it that don't show very well. If you have a chance
to visit the Aquarium, look for this critter, as it is incredibly
beautiful. |

Here are a couple
of Moray Eels that live in the tank. The one to the left is a
Green Moray, and the one on the right is a Spotted Moray. |

Here is a cool flounder from the tank. I
don't know what kind it is. |

"Oooh, look at all the people outside
the window." |

This is a little Cowfish from the tank.
It was badly underexposed, but it had a cute expression. |
